Who we are
C22 Jobs is operated by C22 Foundation. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it means C22 Foundation. Questions or requests about your data can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
We only collect what is necessary to operate the platform.
Account data
When you register, we store your email address, a hashed (never plain-text) password, your role (job seeker or employer), and — for employers — your company name and website. You can optionally add a short bio to your seeker profile.
Job listings
Employers submit job titles, descriptions, location, salary, and a link to apply. This content is public by design.
Applications
When a seeker applies to a job, we store the cover letter text, and any LinkedIn or portfolio URLs they voluntarily provide. This data is shared with the employer who posted the role and no one else.
Authentication cookies
We set a single token cookie to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and expires after 30 days. We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies.
Transactional email
We send emails only when you trigger them — account confirmation and password reset. We use Resend to deliver these. Your email address is passed to Resend for this purpose only.
What we don't collect
- — No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind
- — No advertising identifiers or third-party pixels
- — No payment information (the platform is free)
- — No device fingerprints or behavioral profiling
How we use your data
- — To authenticate you and maintain your session
- — To display your job listings or applications to the relevant parties
- — To send password reset emails you request
- — To moderate content that violates our Terms of Use
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.
Data storage & security
All data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and served via Cloudflare's global network. Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 before storage and are never logged or transmitted in plain text. All connections are encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. Please use a unique password for your account.
Your rights
You can:
- — Update your profile information at any time from your dashboard
- — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- — Withdraw any voluntarily-provided information (bio, portfolio URL, etc.)
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of C22 Jobs after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
